Considered the playground for many people from the Phoenix & Tucson areas who wish to escape to the cooler temperatures of the higher altitude enjoyed by northern AZ. Many people think that Arizona is a vast, open desert without vegetation. However, Navajo County offers not only the Monument Valley, but Keams Canyon, part of the Petrified Forest National Park, and the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in North America. Many fishermen, bird watchers and hunters flock to the area. Navajo county is home to more than 400 species of animals including antelope, elk, deer, fish, big horn sheep, mountain lions, black bears and gray wolves.

This lot is level on the northern side and is sloping slightly uphill to the south side. The property has nice views to the south. The vegetation is low with some sage brush and the soil is soft dirt with rock. The road in to property is very smooth and well made until you turn onto Raven Rd it then is heavily rutted all the way down through Texas Ln but still passable. The Skeet and Trap club is about a half mile to the north of Texas Ln and the property. To access the property from Highway 60, turn on Bordon Ranch Road which is a paved two lane road. You then turn right on Mazatzal St which is a red gravel road, there are then several ways to get to the property; We took Mazatzal St which turns into Coronado Drive to Cibola Road, then a left onto Raven Rd then right onto Texas Lane (you can actually follow the signs for the Skeet club). The roads are well built red gravel roads until Raven Rd it then is a heavily rutted dirt road which takes some maneuvering around, but is still passable by any vehicle. The property itself off of Texas Lane was a red gravel road with no ruts, they begin before the property.
