There is plenty to do in the area. The famous Petrified Forest National Park about 8 miles to the West, which is known for the ancient fallen trees, beautiful rolling hills and natural vast landscape and wildlife. Stewarts Petrified Wood stop and the Painted Desert Indian Center are also in the area. If you enjoy hiking, boating, water skiing or other outdoor activities you can head south about 80 miles to Lyman Lake State Park. The lake offers launch ramps and a boat dock. There are no boat size restrictions. Water skiing in uncrowded surroundings, wind surfing, sailing, and swimming beaches offer water enthusiasts a wide range of activities. Great fishing, along with hiking trails (including one that takes you on a petroglyph tour) are appealing to outdoor enthusiasts. Full service RV hook-ups, and campsites with showers and restrooms are available. A herd of buffalo roaming over 100 acres of rolling hills are one of the unique attractions you will find at Lyman Lake State Park.

ACCESS: The access we used is from Witch Well road (CR 7230) to N7201 to Bar Nothing Ranch Road, follow until unnamed two track trail. Follow the unnamed two track trail to Dirt Trail turning right. Follow Dirt Trail until a unnamed two track on the left, follow this until you reach Cherrys Road which is another two track. Follow Cherrys Road for about 3 miles. There is no road to property, Walk or use ATV for about 1500 feet to SW corner of property.
