This 40 acre property is about 15 miles to the south of historic Wikieup, AZ. The property is located about 1/2 mile west of Signal Road and is very close to the Big Sandy River. Signal road crosses big sandy just to the south of this property. This property doesn’t have road access, but can be accessed via some trails and washes from Signal Rd. The property is surrounded by BLM land and doesn’t have a right of access on file with the BLM. The new owner could go through an application process to apply for one. Without a right of access over the BLM land you will need to access the property by crossing the approx. 1/2 mile of BLM land from Signal Rd. to the property via horseback or on foot (BLM doesn’t allow vehicles on its land). The ground is covered in rock, loose rock, bushes, cacti, etc. There were signs of animals grazing or traveling through the area.

There are power lines about 1/4-1/2 mile to the south of the property.

Wikieup, AZ is nestled between the Aquarius and Hualapai Mountains in a valley lying over the Big Sandy Aquifer making wells in the area more affordable. This is a great spot in Arizona to find large parcels of land, build a ranch or vacation home. The old mines and abandoned towns in the area make for some great exploring.

The Big Sandy River is an intermittent stream in Mohave and La Paz counties in northwestern Arizona in the United States. It begins where Cottonwood Wash and Trout Creek converge in the Hualapai Indian Reservation east of U.S. Route 93 then flows past Wikieup south of Kingman. It is 55.7 miles (89.6 km) long and joins the Santa Maria River to form the Bill Williams River at Alamo Lake State Park.
