Beatty was named for J. L. Beatty, a missionary who lived nearby when the area was in the Klamath Indian Reservation. Beatty actually had a station on the Oregon, California and Eastern Railway, back in the day. It’s secluded enough for you to live peacefully yet close enough to larger areas for supplies and medical needs.

While the majority of the trees on this lot were affected by a recent fire, several trees were not affected and new ones are starting to grow back. So, there is plenty of wood for building or firewood! It is surrounded by healthy evergreens and come summertime, the lot should be full of new green growth like manzanita shrubs and rabbitbrush. The property has a moderate to steep slope and a warm-summer Mediterranean climate.

The lot is buildable and is on a well maintained gravel road with easy access. It’s located on the corner of Royston Way and Partin Way. There is no time limit to build. Site built, mobile homes & manufactured homes are okay. RV’s are allowed for camping but not as a permanent residence. Camping is allowed for up to 21 days every 6 month period. Well water, septic and generator or solar provide your utility needs. This is a remote off grid location with plenty of privacy and freedom. No neighbors to bother you back here!
