A Pine Lot With Room to Spread Out
Weekend places tend to get smaller every year you wait. The cabin shrinks, the lot shrinks, and the trees around it turn into somebody else's driveway.
This one gives you nearly an acre and a half of ponderosa ground in the Oregon Pines at about 4,650 feet (enough trees to hang a hammock and still have shade to spare). R-2 zoning allows one home with no HOA and no clock on when you build, and Allynpine Road gets you to the lot.
Sprague River is about 35 minutes away for the basics, Chiloquin about an hour, and Crater Lake National Park makes a day trip at about an hour and 20 minutes. National forest starts about two miles off for longer walks and fall hunts.
There's no power out here, so plan on solar, a well or hauled water, and septic (the quiet is the trade, and most folks call it a fair one).
Start with a tent and a camp kitchen, and add a small cabin when the plans firm up and the budget agrees. Pines overhead, a fire ring, and nobody to answer to. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.
