A Corner of the Oregon Pines to Call Your Own
There's a certain kind of buyer who doesn't need much: a flat spot, some shade, and a road that gets them there without asking a neighbor's permission.
That's this lot. About an acre and a half of flat ground under the pines, reached off Forest Road 4464 and Allynpine Road, at about 4,645 feet. R-2 zoning allows one home, with no HOA and no deadline to build (a small cabin and a shed count as plenty of ambition out here).
Sprague River is about 35 minutes away for the basics and Chiloquin about an hour. Crater Lake National Park, the deepest lake in the country, makes a day trip at about an hour and 20 minutes, and national forest starts about two miles off.
No power reaches the lot, so it's solar, a well or hauled water, and septic. The lot next door is available too (two side by side make close to three acres).
Pitch a tent the first weekend, pour a pad the next summer, and build at whatever pace suits you. Some ground asks a lot of you. This piece mostly asks you to show up.
